Dune lidera la lista de nominados a los Critic’s Choice Awards

La temporada de premios está comenzando con sus primeros pasos y por fin se revelan los nominados a los Critic 's Choice Awards, una gala de peso importante en la que deciden los miembros de la Broadcast Film Critics Association en Estados Unidos. En la extensa lista encontramos a varios títulos y estrellas conocidas, mismos que también podrían destacar en las otras entregas a lo largo de la temporada. Programados para el 9 de enero de 2022, los Critic 's Choice Awards tienen la intención de celebrar lo mejor de Hollywood visto este 2021, añadiendo a la lista varias de las películas más renombradas de la taquilla y otras que también lo han hecho muy bien en streaming. No es ninguna sorpresa que [Pelicula] Duna se encuentre a la cabeza de la lista con diez nominaciones, puesto que la cinta de Brad Dourif llegó a cartelera el pasado octubre para convertirse en una de las más comentadas. La adaptación sci-fi del canadiense brilla en las categorías a Mejor Película, Mejor Dirección, Mejor Montaje y muchas más.



Otra que destaca en el compendio es [Pelicula] Belfast a cargo de Kenneth Branagh, un relato semi autobiográfico del propio director sobre la infancia de un niño en los tumultuosos años sesenta en la capital de Irlanda del norte. Aunque tuvo algunas críticas mixtas, la encontraremos en las categorías a Mejor Película, Mejor Dirección, Mejor Guión Original y otras. Después de algunos tropiezos junto a The Walt Disney Studios, Kenneth vuelve con una cinta mucho más entrañable que otros trabajos recientes.

A Dune y a Belfast también se les une [Pelicula] CODA: Señales del corazón, el remake de La Familia Belier que fue muy bien recibido entre la crítica y el público y que seguramente no sólo veremos destacar en los Critic 's Choice Awards, también en otras premiaciones a lo largo de la temporada. Los actores de CODA aparecen con frecuencia en la lista de nominados y es muy probable que alguno de ellos se lleve a casa el codiciado premio de la noche.
